A look into my world

HELLO WORLD!! I have always wanted to do one of these and I have kind of taken over the one where I work. But in doing the GSP blog, I find myself with more to say and in reading some of the other blogs I realize that I could do this. So, here I am. Let me start off with who I am: mother to Dylen munchkin of 3 years, woman of Trent's (I say this because we have been together four and a half years and still not «betrothed» yet we have lived together for four years...but that story is for another day dear reader), small town girl, hippie tree hugger, and lover of the arts. I work for the state of Indiana as a naturalist and I am thrilled to have landed my dream job this year. I also love to knit, take pictures and watch hockey(Penguins) & football(Colts). Enough about that stuff though.

On to more important things! Like the holidays. With our families being the way they are (HUGE) it gets crazy aound here. We started Christmas Eve day and our last one will be on wed. with friends. Don't get me wrong, love being around family and friends but by the third Christmas, we are Christmased out! This year was a little better because I was able to get Trent a really nice gift for all hat he does for us & provides what he does. Munchkin wanted to play more than anything else and who can blame him? All those new toys and people keep wanting you to open all this other stuff! I love being ale to enjoy the holidays with a child....all be it a very cranky one!
